A while back, either in one of the devs' videos or discord, they mentioned that the way the nodes look will be based on/affected by the race that worked on it the most. For example if "wood elves" are the majority in the node, the buildings will be in their style, and etc.

To be completely honest, this gets me more hyped than the chart of class names they released recently, but I want to know your opinions: are you more interested in aesthetics of your race being shown in your home or playing with your friends without forcing them into making a decision?

I'm concerned we'll never see an orc node higher than level 3... but I'm not playing an orc so I guess I'm part of that problem?

Really, it seems like this will make human/elf cities dominate the world because of player demographics, and if you want something different you need to specifically organize a large number of players to play something off the beaten path.

I only hope you can choose the aesthetics of freeholds regardless of race. I'd like to have a Kaela tavern despite playing an Empyrean. Seems like people would find it more homey.

I fully expect to see almost nothing but human nodes since humans are, for some reason, the most typically popular races for people to play in fantasy MMOs. That said, I'd really love to find a level 5 Tulnar Trade node in the Underrealm someday. I'll be contributing to many nodes on my own character due to his wandering nature, but if a Ren'kai node pops up somewhere, I'll prefer to think I had something to do with it. ;)
